The Integrated Pastoral Development Organization (IPDO) has participated in training on “Conflict Early Warning and Response,” organized by the Gambella Region Peace-Building Network in collaboration with CCRDA, ZOA, DCA, and Mercy Corps, which aims to strengthen local capacity to identify early signs of conflict and take timely action. It seeks to improve coordination among community structures, government offices, and partner organizations through shared tools and systems for early warning and rapid response. The program also promotes inclusive, conflict-sensitive approaches that prevent violence and enhance peaceful coexistence across the region. Overall, the initiative supports more effective and sustainable mechanisms for dialogue, collaboration, and stability in Gambella.
